Seneca Falls Rotary provided signature BBQ in People’s Park on Thursday, July 23rd from 5:30-7:30pm. Face coverings were mandated according to COVID-19 NY guidelines..

Attendees arrived with lawn chairs to best enjoy music and food under the shade of the park trees. Diana Leigh & the Shorty Georges performed for two hours during the July 23rd event. The free concert is a part of a three-week series with the theme celebrating women in music for the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment ratification and is sponsored by the Seneca Museum through funding provided by a Finger Lakes Community Arts grant.

During a previous concert held in the park on July 9th, Seneca Falls Rotary sold BBQ and cold drinks. With that success Rotarians appear again during this commemorative community event. Seneca Falls Rotarian and grill master Dave Swenson states “the music [by the Jess Novak Bank on July 9th] was great! Please bring your family and chairs to the park and enjoy the music and our BBQ!”
